Forest Roads is a self-paced, online course designed to provide valuable information on how to correctly design, construct and maintain forest roads. The program is broken into 8 segments:
- Introduction to Successful Forest Roads Projects
- Design Standards for Low Volume Roads
- Forest Road Design and Vehicle Characteristics
- Harvest Planning and Road Location
- Road Construction
- Basic Hydrology and Hydraulic Design
- Temporary Wet Site and Stream Crossing Options
- Erosion Control and Road Maintenance
